Um, back to N'Arleans. Y'all lookin' bag-eyed and disarrayed. Y'gettin' enough sleep, an' I don' mean on da bus. Fergot to give up MEV's road survival tip: always carry a banana in yer backpack. Not in yer jacket, as it is subject to con'r'versy an' mis-unnerstandin'. But for the potassium jolt an' the "it's alright" feelin', bananas.
I had the same impression. I also wondered why I was more impressed by the Sears Tower than the CN Tower (which is taller). My guess is that the CN Tower doesn't look like the other buildings, so you cannot assess the scale as well (look at windows to count the stories, etc.).
My name is Nick Taylor-Vaisey. I have an undergrad degree in political science and a few clippings in newspapers and magazines around Canada. I live in Ottawa.
I saved some money this summer and, with minimal planning and as much spontaneity as I can muster, I am setting off on a 30-day bus voyage across (parts of) North America.
Ambitious, I know. How can anyone hope to appreciate Canada's east coast and America's eastern seaboard, gulf coast, and west coast while peering out the windows of a Greyhound bus?
Well, follow along and see how I do. I have a camera and expect to see a few friends along the way. There might even be some cameos.

Maybe it'll seem bigger from the top looking down.
